Reflective Journal
Reflective practice plays an important part in the continuous professional development of the teacher. This involves developing your own judgement of what works and does not work in your teaching, critically examining personal and professional attitudes and beliefs to challenge assumptions and practice, and responding positively to feedback and advice from others (draft revised Professional Standards January 2014). You should complete your reflective journal as you progress throughout the course reflecting on what you have learnt, and how you are using this within your own teaching practice.
